  3. Treasurer’s Report was given by James Jordan. SHNA donated for 2025 and 2026. $50.00 to Sunset Hill Elementary, West Middle School and Community Mercantile Education Foundation. The report was approved by acclamation.
  4. Old Business:
    1. The committee discussed member renewals. Membership in 2026 is about half of what it was in 2025. Gary Webber has sent emails and will send a reminder email. The committee also discussed ways to increase membership. Next year, members plan to walk through the neighborhood and distribute flyers.
    2. LAN. You can go onto the LAN Website for any current information. Gary Webber reviewed details from the last LAN Meeting. Same topics as before. Strategic City Planning and Funding.
  5. New Business
    1. Goals and follow up:
      1. Community Engagement: we could add a virtual option for members to view our next annual meeting and hopefully increase attendance.
      2. Possibly piggyback to another event with the annual meeting such as a bake sale.
    2. Sunset Hill neighborhood entrance signs remain on hold. Although the signs would be a nice addition, the cost is too high at this time.
    3. Matthew Paul reviewed our goals and asked Gary to put them in the newsletter.
    4. Matthew Paul gave a summary of the SHNA Executive Committee for 2025 and reviewed the positions for the 2026-2027 Executive Committee. The new terms were approved by acclamation and renewed:
      1. Nominate James Jordan to serve an additional 3-year term,
      2. Betsy and Chris Ostrander to serve an additional 3-year term
      3. Matthew Paul to serve an additional 3-year term
      4. Joan Stone to serve an additional 2 years
      5. No one volunteered for the Vice-President position
    5. Matthew Paul suggested we scheduled the next meeting for August 19, 2026
  6. Meeting was adjourned.
