  2. Presentation by Jehren Raney, Raney Group, and Lance Adams, Adams Architects LLC, and J.   3. EC Meeting
    1. Approve August 16, 2020 minutes Motion to approve Paul, Arick 2nd, passed unanimously.
    2. Treasurer’s Report – Arick provided Treasurers Report, $1,312.77 balance, 133 total members
    3. Old Business
      1. LAN update (Webber) – Recent LAN activity including development at Crestline and Clinton Parkway, redevelopment at 19th and Moodie Rd. LAN minutes at https://lawrenceneighborhoods.wordpress.com/category/minutes/
      2. SHNA Website update (Webber) – No significant changes
      3. Update on Centennial and Ludlam Parks – Fall clean-up of Centennial & Ludlum was completed in October with 6 volunteers.
    4. New Business
      1. Applause Award Winners 2020, to be announced in winter newsletter (Webber) – Applause Award Winners have been posted on SNHA Web Site, Newsletter will be coming out shortly. View at https://sunsethillna.org/2020/11/11/applause-award-winners-2020/.
      2. Carladyne Conyers contacted SHNA and asked for support for a 4-way stop at Harvard and Centennial. Webber helped her contact Dustin J. Smith, P.E. Senior Project Engineer, Municipal Services & Operations, who researched the matter and stated that traffic design standards did not support a 4-way at this intersection.
      3. Proposal to change contents of new neighbor packet (Webber) – Webber proposed to move to a more “digital” format for “Welcome Neighbor” packet. Discussion on reduction of paper content was supported by all comments.  Webber has produced a “Community Resources” web page that lists links to resources (https://sunsethillna.org/community-resources/) He will continue to distribute scaled down packets with links to appropriate resources.
      4. Discuss plans for 2021 Annual Meeting (All)
        1. Mid-April virtually? September in person? Flyer the neighborhood? After some discussion, the EC tentatively decided to attempt an annual meeting in person late in September, combined with flyer distribution in August. If coronavirus restrictions do not allow in person meetings, we will conduct the meeting virtually, but still flyer the neighborhood.
        2. Need new EC members: Discussion on possible EC members – need two new members. We will need to nominate a slate in August.
      5. Discussion of affordable housing in Sunset Hill (Sheri Ellenbecker) The EC discussed affordable housing. No action was deemed needed at this time.

  5. Set date and time for winter meeting in late February: Scheduled for Monday February 15, 2021.
