Annual Meeting!

All residents and property owners in Sunset Hill are encouraged to attend! Please park in the lot north of the school (or  walk or bike!) and enter by the Auditorium entrance. Homemade cookies and lemonade will be served.

This is an excellent opportunity to visit with neighbors, learn more about your neighborhood association, get to know the Executive Committee and vote for new committee members. This year we will host two speakers:

• Megan Poindexter, Executive Director of the Senior Resource Center for Douglas County will introduce you to the resources, services, opportunities and advocacy the Center provides.
• Nick Hoyt, I&I Manager, Municipal Services & Operations, City of Lawrence will talk to us about infrastructure work planned or currently underway in Sunset Hill, including sidewalks at 9th and Iowa, water mains on Lawrence Avenue and Ninth, traffic light timing on our major arterials, and more!
